Responsible E-Waste Disposal

In an effort to champion environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices, Tarasafe has partnered with Hulladek Recycling, a government-authorized e-waste management company, to address the growing challenge of electronic waste.

Electronic waste including discarded items like old mobile phones, laptops, chargers, batteries, and cables, poses a serious environmental threat if improperly handled. Unlike regular waste, e-waste contains hazardous materials such as heavy metals and toxic chemicals that can pollute ecosystems and pose a risk to human health. Recognizing this, we have taken proactive steps to ensure that electronic waste generated within our factory operations and by employees is managed responsibly.

As part of the initiative, dedicated e-waste collection boxes have been installed at both Maheshtala Factory and Salt Lake Corporate Office. These collection points encourage employees to dispose of office-generated e-waste and personal items from home, creating a simple yet powerful way to minimize environmental impact.

This program not only reinforces our commitment to sustainability but also aligns with broader environmental protection goals by preventing harmful materials from reaching landfills and ensuring proper recycling.
